We are looking for a domestic gas engineer that would like to move into commercial gas appliance servicing work.  £50,000 total package.  2 nights a week away on average, and twice a year a longer trip of 10-14 days away.  These are routine gas appliance servicing calls which are planned in advance.  Part of a small team based in Birmingham.  They design and build their own world-class industrial equipment.

1.Total earnings headline figure of £50k, broken down as £38k basic + £3k discretionary bonus + £3,600 car benefit (approx.) + £720 medical benefit + additional tax free expenses.

2.Gas Engineer with COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CORT1, CDGA1.  Alternatively expired qualifications and also commercial/domestic gas qualifications would be considered.

3.The job of Gas Engineer is mainly industrial gas equipment servicing.  This is planned in advance routine servicing so you will almost always know what the job involves before you arrive.

4.On average you will have 2 nights away a week, there are usually two longer service trips twice a year where you may spend up to 14 nights away.  60% off the jobs are UK based, most of the rest are in Europe, plus a few others in North America and further a-field.

5.Part of a small team based in Birmingham.  The gas serving jobs are planned in advance so it can often be possible to tweak the schedule around important family events.

This Gas Engineer, Industrial Gas Appliance Servicing job will suit:

·Domestic Appliance Gas Engineer with COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CORT1, CDGA1 or Gassafe, also, expired qualifications and also commercial/domestic gas qualifications would be considered. If you have any industrial or commercial gas appliance experience already that’s great, but this serving job can be completed with Domestic Appliance Gas Engineer skills.

·A person that enjoys the variety of travelling to different sites in the UK, Europe and occasionally to industrial sites from Canada to the Far East. You will need to be able to be away from home on average 2 nights a week, planned in advance, plus two trips of 10-14days away twice a year.

·Passport and Driving License essential.

·The ability to work in a physical engineering workplace involving crawl spaces, ladders and manual lifting.

·The ability to represent the business professionally in a business to business factory environment.

This job is commutable from Wolverhampton, Birmingham, West Bromwich, Bromsgrove and the West Midlands area.
