Functional Safety Consultant, Coventry

Functional Safety Consultant job. Principal role in executing functional safety activities. Providing expert level consultancy in ISO26262 and safety analyses including FMEA. Technical project management and decision making. Mentoring less experienced members of the team on technical work. Role would suit an experienced Functional Safety Engineer / Functional Safety Consultant with experience of working on automotive / vehicle engineering projects or within similar advanced engineering / safety critical industry sectors.

This Functional Safety Consultant job will suit:

• An experienced Functional Safety Engineer / Functional Safety Consultant with previous experience of working on automotive / vehicle engineering projects or within similar advanced engineering / safety critical industry sectors.
• You will be able to demonstrate expert knowledge of ISO26262.
• Sound experience of safety analyses techniques, particularly FMEA with broad exposure to different processes and methodologies. 

• You are likely to be degree qualified in a mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, electrical engineering, electronic engineering or similar science based subject area.
