This Fuel Cell Test Engineer jobs role will suit:

  • A Test Engineer or Development Engineer or Project Engineer or experience of working in a similar role in an automotive, aerospace, fuel cell, battery or similar technology environment.
  • You will need an ability to read and produce technical documents.
  • Any exposure to any of the following areas would be advantageous hazardous gases; heat transfer; control systems; electronics; instrumentation; chemical and thermodynamic processes.
  • We are looking for a candidate that is capable of juggling multiple priorities and can work independently as part of a high performing team.
  • You are likely to be degree qualified in an electrical engineering, electronic engineering, mechanical engineering or similar engineering or science-based discipline.

This Fuel Cell Test Engineer job will involve:

  • As this is brand new test capability being created you be involved in the initial set up of the fuel cells test and data acquisition equipment as well as the overseeing the testing.
  • Oversee the set up and execution of durability tests.
  • Lead product fault finding and diagnosis.
  • Produce test reports, present findings and recommendations.
  • Test planning, creating operating procedures and risk assessments.
  • Provide technical leadership to Test Technicians.
