Forklift Driver, LN6, Lincoln

Working within the production stores receiving completed components, the job is NOT purely forklift truck based but this is an element to the position. Team based position across a permanent day shift. The position required a FLT Licence – valid or expired (the company is happy to refresh your licence). There are multiple positions within the business; both require elements of using a Fork Lift Truck. Each role is more than just operating a FLT; you will have stock management or facilities maintenance duties.

Salary: c£17,500 - working a rotating day shift.

The job will involve:

• Completing and supporting stock takes.
• Operating a fork lift truck.
• Carrying out transactions using the computer software systems. Good IT skills will be needed for this position.
• Supporting the goods inwards function, potentially using a fork lift on occasions.

This job will suit:

• An experienced Stores Operative or Stores Person who has worked within a warehouse / production environment.
• Someone who is organized and can manage various tasks.
• Good IT capabilities and can quickly learn systems to help update stock levels / orders etc. There is an element of stock management within this job.
• A FLT license is essential – either valid or expired (in need of a refresher course).
• Full UK driving license also required.
