• Financial Controller, Head of Finance, Finance Controller, FC, working for a multinational engineering business.

• £60,000 - £70,000 starting salary + 35 days Holiday (Including bank holidays), Pension scheme (Which can rise up to 9% after 2 years), life assurance and other benefits.Home working / Hybrid working available.

• Reporting directly to the MD of rapidly growing UK business who are part of a larger multinational group, you will be responsible for managing all finance activities related to business operations and strategic planning.

Are you a Financial Controller, Head of Finance, Finance Manager, Senior Finance professional based near Nuneaton, looking to lead the finance operations for a dynamic role with a growing and extremely interesting engineering business? You will work for a business that develops systems for the defence industry, so you will require UK or EU Citizenship for security purposes.

This Financial Controller job will suit:

• A financial controller or senior finance professional with the ability to lead all finance operations of a small UK business.

• CIMA / ACCA / ACA Qualified Accountant.

• Strong accounting knowledge (IFRS / UKGAAP)

• Proactive person with a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to contribute to the commercial agility of the business – not afraid to question decisions and to keep the financial interest of the business front of mind.

• An ambitious finance professional who is looking to advance their career.

This Financial Controller job involve will involve:

• Manage period-end closing activities for Statutory Reporting and Managerial Reporting, ensuring accurate and timely information.

• Budget management and preparing forecasts.

• Cost management, cost analysis.

• Prepare the annual Financial Statement according to local and international Accounting Principles (UKGAAP and IFRS).
