This Finance Director job will suit:

​

• A finance professional already working in a Finance Director role, or it could suit a Finance Manager or Financial Controller looking to step up to finance director level.

• You will demonstrate both strategic and operational qualities to successful drive forward the finance function of the European business (1 UK office).

• We are looking for a candidate who has previous experience of working within a manufacturing / engineering environment.

• Previous experience of leading, developing and managing a Finance team – this does not need to be a large team as this is an SME business.

• You have a continuous improvement mindset – ‘be better tomorrow, than today.’

• You will have gained your professional qualifications in finance / accounting e.g., ACCA or equivalent.

The Finance Director job will involve:

​

• Overall responsibility for all aspects of the finance function of the European business (1 UK office).

• You will be stepping into a well-run environment – the focus is on further development, optimisation rather than radical change.

• Provide the business with strategic and operational finance guidance, planning and management – create, develop, implement the vision, processes, procedures etc…

• Ownership of the annual budget, monthly reporting, analysis, ensure statutory regulations and legislation compliance.
