Export Coordinator. OX9, Thame, Oxfordshire.£35,000

  • Import / Export Controller job vacancy based at a professional manufacturing production engineering manufacturing business.

  • Would suit an Export Coordinator, Import Coordinator, Export Controller, Import Controller or similar – someone who has dealt with Export documentation & compliance.

  • Key activities and responsibilities include creating, controlling an issuing shipping documentation and ensure all check procedures are completed prior to release. Documentation would include for example obtaining Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, Certificates of Shipment and Proofs of Delivery from the from the freight forwarder, enabling zero-rating of goods for HMRC VAT compliance.

  • Excellent starting salary dependent on experience, we suspect in the region of £32,000 - £35,000 + wider company benefits.

 

This Export Coordinator job will suit:

  • Export Coordinator, Import Coordinator, Export Controller, Import Controller or similar.Someone used to working with documentation and export compliance.

  • You will be the main point of contact for the business for all things Import/Export.Any knowledge of ITAR, EAR and Incoterms would be an advantage.

  • Dealing with Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, Certificates of Shipment and Proofs of Delivery, and liaising with HRMC to ensure VAT compliance for imported and exported manufactured goods.

  • Working for an international business, but within a small team you will need to be happy working within a dynamic, SME culture (You will be given a lot more freedom within your role!).

  • Based near to Thame in Oxfordshire, you will need to be able to commute into their production facility.
