We are seeking an experienced Estimator to support the front end sales process by providing competitive quotes whilst delivering high levels of customer service. Excellent business with a strong reputation for retaining staff and offering stability. The position has been created due to securing ongoing projects across a range of sectors.

Salary: £35,000 as a guide.

This Estimator job will suit:

• Experience working within a similar Estimator function providing engineering related quotes.

• Preferably come from a Sheet Metal manufacturing environment. Comfortable with BOMs and reading technical drawings.

• Excellent level of customer service. Someone proactive and methodical / process driven.

• Strong communication skills and enjoys problem solving.

The Estimator job will involve:

• Preparing estimates, materials and transport costings in response to customer enquiries

• Accurate take offs of materials from construction drawings or from bill and quantities

• Liaising directly with external sales colleagues regarding the incoming enquiries for discounts and margin expectations

• Costing bespoke products

• Creating a Bill of Materials

• Re-costing of orders

• Working with internal and external sales teams on technical queries

This job is commutable from Coalville, Leicester, Ashby, Derby, Castle Donington, Nuneaton.
