• £25,000 to £35,000 salary guide plus excellent benefits including 27 days holiday plus all bank holidays, a good pension contribution and lots of other benefits.

• Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am – 4.45pm and 8am – 3.45pm (some flexibility can be offered).

Do you have an engineering technician or mechanical technician or vehicle technician or automotive technician background and have a passion for vehicles / cars?

Would you enjoy working within a brand-new world class automotive research, developing and testing facility supporting the testing of a wide range of vehicles?

This Engineering Technician job will involve:

• Preparing test equipment and specialist engineering test facilities to be used during testing within a brand new automotive / vehicle engineering research and development laboratory.

• Preparing test instrumentation to be used during testing.

• Routine facility and test equipment maintenance before and after tests have taken place.

• Use of data collection systems.

• Working with and supporting Engineers during tests.

This Engineering Technician job will suit:

• An Engineering Technician or Workshop Technician or Vehicle Technician or Automotive Technician with experience of working within an engineering, manufacturing, facilities, or similar engineering technician environment.

• You be qualified to at least Level 3 level or equivalent in an engineering or motor vehicle or mechanics or similar engineering discipline e.g., apprenticeship, NVQ, BTEC etc…

• Have care and pride in your work – you will be working with high value test equipment and vehicles.

• Any experience or practical understanding of vehicles would be beneficial but not essential.
