Engineering Technician jobs role will suit:

• An Engineering Technician or Fitter with mechanical fitting and some electrical fitting skills. It is predominately a mechanical focused position.  
• Experience of operating, diagnosing and maintaining equipment.
• You will be able to read engineering diagrams and schematics (ideally electrical diagrams too).
• You are likely to hold a relevant qualification in an electrical engineering, electronic engineering, mechanical engineering or similar engineering discipline.

This Engineering Technician job will involve:

• As this is brand new test capability being created you be involved in the initial set up of the fuel cells test and data acquisition equipment.
• Set up and run durability tests on the product.
• Perform product fault finding and diagnosis.
• Carry out planned maintenance on test equipment.
• Carry out build and upgrades on test equipment including mechanical fitting and wiring.
