Embedded Electronics Engineer

£40,000-50,000 (negotiable) + 6% pension + bonus

Hinckley.  Permanent.  Monday-Friday Daytime 8.30-4.30pm.

Embedded Electronics Engineerjob vacancyat an award winning engineering manufacturer. This newly created Embedded Electronics Engineerjob has a focus onembedded systems and electrical design, and you’ll join a collaborative product development team working on innovative heating and temperature control technologies. 

About the Role

Design, develop, and implement embedded and electrical systems for next-generation products. Collaborate with suppliers, software developers, and algorithm experts to integrate new technologies into the products, and at the same time developing your own skills in cutting edge technologiesin a growing £25m turnover engineering and manufacturing business.  They design and manufacture in the UK, and export to an increasing number of countries.

·£40,000-£50,000 (negotiable) salary 6% employer pension contribution, 25 days off (+BHols) & company bonus of roughly 5%.

Key Responsibilities

·Liaise with suppliers on heating and temperature control electronics.

·Create 2D harness drawings and 3D CAD models using SolidWorks.

·Contribute to the embedded systems strategy and propose hardware solutions.

·Develop and test temperature control algorithms with CAE modellers.

·Compile best practice standards for embedded and electrical systems.

·Support software release and configuration processes.

·Explore and implement new technologies and product concepts.

£40,000-£50,000 (negotiable)salary 6% employer pension contribution, 25 days off (+BHols) & company bonus of roughly 5%. The job is Monday to Friday 8.30-4.30pm. This is daytime working (there are no revolvingshifts and no night working). 

Skills & Experience

·Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.

·2–3 years of relevant industry experience.

·Proficient in SolidWorks for 2D and 3D electrical design.

·Experience with heating/cooling control systems.

·Strong understanding of embedded system design (controllers, PCBs, SoMs, sensors, actuators).

·Familiarity with Python, Docker, and Linux-based systems.

·Knowledge of IoT security requirements and compliance standards (UL, CE, NSF).

·Excellent communication and supplier engagement skills.
