This Electrical Project Engineer job will suit:

• An Electrical Engineer that would enjoy working within a role whereby you will be involved in engineering projects from start to finish – electrical design, development, testing and implementation.
• Previous experience of producing electrical designs using CAD is preferred to be able to produce and update electrical schematics.
• Any exposure to working within a process engineering; special purpose machinery; electromechanical equipment; or scientific instrumentation environment would be beneficial but NOT essential.
• You will hold a relevant qualification (Apprenticeship/HNC/HND) in an electrical/electronic engineering or similar discipline.

This Electrical Project Engineer job will involve:

• You will be involved in engineering projects from start to finish – electrical design, development, testing and supporting the onsite installation and commissioning process.
• Customer site visits for requirements capture, project kick off meetings, supporting the installation and commissioning process.
• Producing design solutions.  
• Producing and updating electrical schematics.
• Overseeing and/or carrying out machine testing.
• Production of technical documentation.
• Role will involve some UK and international travel (where appropriate and safe to do so).

This Electrical Project Engineer job is commutable from Rugby, Lutterworth, Coventry, Leicester, Market Harborough, Nuneaton, Leamington Spa, Hinckley and surrounding areas.
