This Electrical Maintenance Engineer job will suit:

• A Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician (electrical engineering bias) with experience of performing effective fault finding and maintenance of both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Specific experience of working within a manufacturing or production environment would be preferred.
• Experience of working as a Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician on the following types of equipment / machinery would be beneficial; electrical control panels; hydraulic and pneumatic systems; machine control systems; machine safety systems; PLC controlled machinery.
• You are likely to hold recognised electrical engineering qualifications such as BTEC/NVQ Level 3, 18^th Edition Wiring Regulations or similar.

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer job will involve:

• Ensure the effective running of all plant, equipment and buildings through regular planned and reactive maintenance in order to ensure optimal plant performance.
• Fault finding on equipment such as electrical panels, PLCs, 3 phrase circuits and control systems, tests repair and replacement of motors.
• Mechanical maintenance - replacing bearings, compressor checks, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Generation and maintenance of all relevant documentation to a high standard.
• Basic facility and site service maintenance when required
