​Electrical Engineer

• Electrical engineer jobs role; PLC fault finding and testing of equipment before it’s commissioned

• 7:30 to 15:30 Monday to Friday. 34 days holiday. 7.5% pension

• 17th edition / 18th edition ; Would suit an electrician, electrical maintenance engineer or similar who wants to lead a small team testing special purpose high speed packaging machinery

• Organize and lead a small team who are panel wiring, electrical test via voltage meters & point to point testing of panels

The Role & What we are looking for

·        This role is all about getting the equipment ready to leave site and go to the customer – checking it’s all working and correct (hence the electrical test feel)

·        Happy to train / pivot someone who has been a commissioning engineer, field service engineer or maintenance engineer into the role

·        Ideally 17th edition (or certainly a good electrical background – ideally some PLC fault finding ability)

·        Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/electrical schematics

·        Any experience with voltage meters & point to point testing of panels would be great.
