Electrical Design Engineer, £40K - £50K, Commutable from Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire

Salary commensurate with experience (up to approx. £50K as a guide) + 10-20% annual bonus + pension + 25 days holiday (bank holidays in addition) + private health + gym membership.

This Electrical Design Engineer job will suit:

An Electrical Design Engineer / Electrical Engineer with experience of working within an electrical design focused role.
Previous experience of working on electrical design projects within the energy or oil & gas or instrumentation or utilities or plant systems or a similar regulated industry sector would be advantageous.
You will be degree qualified (2:1 and above classification) in an Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering discipline.

Electrical Design Engineer responsibilities:

Working on high pressure pipeline and plant systems projects.
Providing project control from initial approval through to commissioning and handover.
Providing electrical engineering designs, ensuring good engineering practices are maintained.
Produce design calculations and production documentation.
Preparing project plans to ensure work is carried out in accordance with client requirements.
Provide electrical engineering input into tenders and customer proposals.
