You will be joining a global leader in the development and manufacture of specialist and innovative electromechanical systems used within automotive, process, environmental, scientific, and other advanced technology sectors.

Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities:

• Working within a multidisciplined R&D team working on the design, development, and manufacture of industry leading innovative scientific electromechanical systems.

• The role will involve everything from research, creating electrical design concepts, circuit design, and prototype development to testing, supporting manufacturing teams.

• An opportunity to get involved in some electronic design activities (PCB design).

• Support product testing to ensure products integrate correctly into new and existing applications.

• Produce technical documentation including schematic designs, wiring sheets and instructions, bill of materials, and test specifications.

Your background as an Electrical Design Engineer:

• We are looking for a candidate with previous experience of working within a role with a focus on electrical design engineering.

• Any additional experience of PCB design / electronics design would be beneficial but not essential.

• The role would suit an Electrical Design Engineer who wants combine desk based electrical design with hands on product design and development support – prototype development, product testing, supporting manufacturing.

• Previous experience of using CAD design tools.

• You are likely to hold a relevant qualification in electrical, electronic, or similar engineering discipline.
