This Electrical Design Engineer job will suit:

​

• An Electrical Design Engineer with a proven track record of delivering electrical design and development projects into manufacturing.

• Specific experience of designing power distribution, control and instrumentation panels, or bespoke electrical equipment would be advantageous.

• You will have a recognised qualification in an electrical/electronic engineering or similar engineering discipline.

• The company work on UK Defence projects, so it is a requirement of this role that you have to be a sole British Citizen to obtain the relevant level of security clearance.

Electrical Design Engineer responsibilities:

​

• Delivery of all aspects of electrical design on cross functional engineering projects including design proposals, detail design, calculations, design validation, and development of technical specifications.

• Assessing customer technical requirements / consulting with customers to agree technical specifications / project requirements and driving projects forward accordingly.

• You will have the opportunity to take full responsibility for delivering your own electrical projects if desired.
