This Electrical Design Engineer job will suit:

• An Electrical Engineer with an electrical design background who will enjoy working within a role whereby you will be involved in engineering projects from start to finish – electrical design, development, testing, manufacture and commissioning.
• Experience of the complete product design lifecycle – from concept into manufacturing is preferred.
• Previous experience of using 3D CAD packages would be preferred.
• Exposure to working within a switchgear design, control panel design or safety critical industry sector would be beneficial.
• You will hold a recognised qualification in an electrical engineering or similar engineering discipline (HNC/HND/Degree).

This Electrical Design Engineer job will involve:

• You will be involved in electrical engineering projects from start to finish – electrical design, development, testing and supporting the onsite installation and commissioning process.
• Design of electrical control and distribution panels including the development of innovative solutions.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing colleagues and customers.
• Production of technical documentation.
