This Design Engineer role will see you working closely with customers to deliver innovative automotive product development solutions from concept development, design feasibility studies, through CAD design, prototype development and into manufacturing.

This Design Engineer job will suit:

• A Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer with previous experience of using 3D CAD software. Experience of using CATIA V5 CAD is advantageous but SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, NX experience is also fine.   
• Any exposure to sheet metal design, automotive product design, combustion systems or similar would be beneficial but not essential – a mechanical engineering background is fine.
• We are looking for a Design Engineer that has experience of translating customer technical requirements into innovative but practical product development solutions.
• You are likely to hold a relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in a mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, computer aided design or similar engineering / science based discipline.
