Customer Account Co-ordinator


Customer Account Co-ordinator job opportunity which is a combination of receiving customer telephone and email requests for quotations or updates regarding existing customer orders.The Customer Account Co-ordinator job is with a small friendly manufacturing company.The key points for the Customer Account Co-ordinator job are;

- Answering sales and customer service calls in a timely and friendly manner.
- Advising customers on various aspects of our product line.
- Making price quotations immediately by phone and email on price book items.
- Preparing forms for price quotations on items not contained in the price book.
- Checking with the credit department concerning the credit status of customers when rush orders are received.
- Ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly processing deadlines are met.
- Supporting other teams and functions as required.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of company processes.
- Following up on queries regarding delivery information.
- Handling the needs of sales representatives and customers in the European Union, UK, and Ireland.
- Maintaining files of active orders and posting activity such as change notices, scheduling changes, partial shipments, and credit changes.
- Investigating and resolving issues that arise in the course of providing service.
- Inputting accurate information into the order system.
- Liaising with the USA on intercompany shipments and placing supplier orders.
- Raising all purchase orders for review and submitting to suppliers.
- Ensuring cost prices and delivery dates are in line with company expectations.
- Chasing all supplier late lines and maintaining a KPI on late and not confirmed lines below 10%.
- Escalating any issues arising from the above.
