Leicester based. 4-6 months. £40 to £60 per hour (but very much dependant on experience).

GUI / graphical user interface experience NOT essential but useful. LUA Scripting and C++ experience highly desirable (as is Linux)

This job will suit:

• A contract embedded software engineer or firmware engineer seeking software jobs in the Leicester / Derby / Nottingham / East Midlands zone
• An electronics engineer with strong embedded experience
• C++  Linux and LUA Scripting experience would be really beneficial
• Experience with embedded systems and real time operating systems
• Knowledge of the following tools is a plus:  GCC, Visual Studio, Eclipse, JSON, XML, Python, Bamboo, SCONS, FitNesse, Lauterbach debuggers.
