Contract Civil Engineer, Hinckley  

• Contract Civil Engineer, Contract Civil Design Engineer.  
• Engineering R&D and technical consulting business working with global vehicle manufacturers and new technology start ups.   
• Civil design, construction design, building design role focused on the concept design and build of a brand-new engineering test facility.
• 3 months initial contract; OUTSIDE of IR35; Negotiable hourly rate commensurate with experience.

This Contract Civil Engineer job will involve:

This is a greenfield building design and construction project, you will be supporting the delivery of the concept design stage of the project, this will include:

• Production of specifications for new facilities.
• Building layout design.
• Production of concept and construction drawings using AutoCAD.
• Interacting with several stakeholders to gather information on buildings and facilities to convert into written documentation.

This Contract Civil Engineer job will suit:

• Experience of concept design of M&E services.
• Proficient with AutoCAD software to complete layout and detailed drawings.
• Good understanding of the CDM 2015 regulations.
• Ability to liaise effectively with several stakeholders (client, contractors, colleagues).  
• You will hold a relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in a building services, construction or civil engineering discipline.

This Contract Civil Engineer jobs role is commutable from Coventry, Leicester, Birmingham, Northampton, Warwick.
