COMPOSITE ENGINEER HUNTINGTON PE29 CAMBRIDGSHIRE

• To support design and manufacturing tasks across multiple projects
• Using CAD skills (modelling and drawing) on Catia or similar
• Aerospace or Defence sector experience preferred
• Brand new facilities with state of the art production and modern employee facilities

Salary & Package: £40,000 - £45,000

• Design Engineer with background in aerospace or defense sector
• Experience with 3D design (Catia or similar)
• Manufacturing and tooling background preferably

The Composite Engineer’s job will involve:

• Design tooling using 3D Computer Aided Design tools (Ideally Catia)
• Compile and control Bills of Materials
• Own and coordinate projects from estimating to part manufacture
• Ensure customer scope and requirements are documented, and change managed
• Establish project plan and manage technical delivery
• Liaise with customer representatives to enable efficient transfer of data, and to ensure designs and manufacturing schemes meet the customer’s expectations
• Communicate with suppliers and compile specifications, to ensure subsequent manufacture is in accordance with design intent
• Communicate with customers regarding product technical support

This job is commutable from Huntington, Peterborough, Cambridge, Northampton and surrounding areas.
