Commercial Engineer role for an established advanced engineering company with a £30m t/o who are acknowledged as a world leader in the development and manufacture of advanced special purpose machine tool systems for the Aerospace and Land Based Gas Turbine industries.

You could be a Commercial Engineer, Applications Engineer, Project Engineer or a NPI Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys dealing with customers and would like more of that responsibility in their role.

This Commercial Engineer job will suit:

• An engineering background
• Someone with machining manufacturing background would be great but NOT a must
• Personable, comfortable dealing with customers
• Someone who can read a technical drawing
• Organizational skills are important – this person needs to look at projects and where they are in the process

• We envisage a 50/50 split in terms of liaising with engineering/shop floor versus dealing with the customer, understanding what they need, pulling together accurate quotations
• Compiling quotations
• Generating of estimates for review with engineering
• Maintain customer relationships
• Job cost reviews
