​CNC Team Leader

• Senior CNC Milling position with a man management element.

• Days based opportunity with scope for further overtime at x1.5 rate.

• Flexible start / finish time around a core day shift pattern.

We are seeking a CNC Team Leader or Senior CNC Miller from a precision machining background. We are working with a leading company involved in the development and manufacture of precision machining, high technology, engineering components that supply into various industries. As a Senior CNC Miller you will be programming, setting and operating various XYZ milling machines.

Salary & Hours: c£40,000 per annum. Overtime paid at x1.5 hourly rate. Flexible hours; either Monday to Thursday 7am – 4pm, Friday 7am – 12 pm. Alternatively, Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm, Friday 8am – 1 pm.

The CNC Team Leader job will involve:

• Programming, setting, and operating a range of CNC milling machines.

• Operating 3, 4 and 5 axis machines using either Fanuc, Mazatrol, XYZ or Siemens based controls.

• Working alongside the Production Manager to improve processes and manage projects / work flow throughout the milling department.

• Training apprentice Machinists to enhance their skills.

This CNC Team Leader job will suit:

• Extensive experience of programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines.

• Online programming capabilities. CADCAM / Offline is a bonus, but not essential.

• Proven man management / team leadership experience. This is a small team and the main focus will be around developing junior Machinists.

• Come from a sub contract / precision machining background.
