​CNC Machinist

• Permanent day shift on a unique pattern that sees you work only a total of 12 day shifts every 4 weeks (28 days).

• You get a lot of spare time off and flexibility on this system.

• Very modern facility with brand new manufacturing machinery.

• Experience with 3, 4 or 5 axis machinery is required.

Salary: Starting salary banding of £28,090 per annum during the initial months training. This will be then rise once up to speed (£30,992), and again once you have mastered all techniques – up to £32,624 per annum. Overtime is paid in addition. 25 days holiday + banks.

Hours: 6:00am to 6:00pm in blocks of two / three days before a break (sometimes up to 5 days off between patterns).

We are recruiting for multiple CNC Machinists to join a rapidly expanding, established manufacturer that make special purpose components used within the aerospace sector. Training can be provided in areas for the right person, a good attitude is more important to the culture of this business. Excellent opportunity to train and learn new skills. This CNC Machinist role focuses on using a range of precision engineering machinery.

CNC Machinist Activities & Responsibilities:

• An experienced CNC Machinist with some operating / setting experience on Multi axis / 5 axis machinery.

• Worked within a precision engineering environment or around manufacturing / production machinery.

• Good all-round Mechanical knowledge in general. A good eye for quality and detail.

• An eagerness to develop. Chance to gain experience on a range of machinery.

• Setting and operating recently purchased CNC machinery. State of the art machinery. 

• Working to tight tolerances, machining a range of high value components.

• Parts produced are for the aerospace sector.

• Working to production targets and ensuring quality standards are met.
