This Chemical Process Engineer job will involve:

  • Lead material research and development programmes.
  • Responsible for process design and control specification for the casting area.
  • Become the expert in the unique range of materials being developed by the company.
  • Provide technical support to the wider business.  
  • Improve and maintain the efficiency and cleanliness of the casting area.
  • Lead the maintenance programme for all casting machines.
  • Work with chemical COSHH assessments and maintain the chemical information system.

This Chemical Process Engineer role will suit:

  • You are likely to be working in a Chemical Engineer, Process Engineer or similar role in a chemical engineering / materials engineering environment.
  • Previous experience of working within a plastics / materials development and manufacturing environment.
  • Specific experience of cast nylon would be advantageous.
  • You are likely to be degree qualified in a Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or similar engineering discipline.
