Buyer Temporary 3 months contract. Chorley Lancashire.

Buyer job. Temp for 3 months. Buyer job in the procurement team, purchasing from pre-agreed suppliers. Covering technical parts and consumables as required. In the Purchasing team the Buyer will have a varied role including raising orders and following through to delivery, resolve invoice queries as well as supporting cost-downs and new supplier on boarding which might include negotiating key points on supplier agreement contracts.

Requirements:

·Are you a buyer with experience of either indirect spend, commodity, consumables, or category purchasing?

·Do you have excellent eye for detail and the drive for deadlines as part of a team?

·A grasp of purchasing cost-down opportunities and some experience of contract negotiation?

·Do you have good IT skills including MRP and MS Office?

·Ideally you will have experience of managing relationships with suppliers
