• As a Buyer / Purchasing professional you will manage the procurement strategy for a highly successful technology business.  You will be responsible for supplier quality, performance and on boarding.
• £30,000 - £35,000 As a rough guide + wider company benefits + 25 days holiday.

This Buyer job will suit:

• A procurement or purchasing professional accustomed to managing a diverse supplier base.
• Some exposure to engineering, manufacturing, engineered components etc. would be beneficial
• Good communication skills
• Some IT skills – Ideally any Excel & spreadsheet knowledge (Pivot table / VLOOKUPS).  If you are analytical and like to manage data this will be a well suited role.
• You should be ambitious and want to progress you career. You will be pro-active and want a diverse role

The Buyer job will involve:

• Dealing with a varied supplier base, you will be responsible for on boarding, evaluating and assessing supplier suitability / quality / performance..
• Working closely with the commercial team to analyse how they can improve their business in terms of procurement (there is the chance to get involved in some strategic projects in this regard)
• Usage of the in-house ERP system
• Building strong relationships with suppliers in order to maximize performance..
• Working closely with the Sales team in order to support them with sourcing activity for large contracts and sales enquiries.
