Buyer jobs role / purchasing jobs role. Brand new factory / facility / offices near Birmingham Airport : commutable from Solihull, Tamworth, Coventry, Coleshill, Nuneaton. Established over 40 years ago, this multinational business (£30m t/o) business is setting up a brand new manufacturing facility. You will be part of an exciting start-up journey with the backing of a multinational group.  

About you / Your background

• A rounded Buyer or Purchasing professional
• Ideally a buyer who is within 25 miles of Birmingham Airport region  : commutable from Solihull, Tamworth, Coventry, Coleshill, Nuneaton
• Ideally CIPS
• Some experience of engineering procurement (that could be mechanical engineering  electrical engineering or similar). We don’t need technical skills – just someone accustomed to working within engineering, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, technical/industrial sectors
• Any experience of SAP would be very beneficial but not essential  
• A buyer who wants some room to progress.
• A buyer who is excited by the fact that you can grow your own team.
• Ambitious, wants to have autonomy and the ability to really make a difference.
