This Automotive Technician job will suit:

• You will have gained some previous experience of working within a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic role.
• You are likely to hold a relevant qualification (NVQ or BTEC or City & Guilds) in a motor vehicle engineering or similar automotive / engineering discipline.   
• There is lots of specific training and development so your experience could have been gained in a manufacturing, workshop, garage, retail centre, agricultural or similar vehicle-based environment.  
• The role would suit a Technician or Mechanic looking to developing their skills and experience in an incredibly diverse, professional, research and development engineering environment.

This Automotive Technician job will involve:

• Supporting the delivery of specialist vehicle research and development test projects.
• Preparing and installing equipment in test vehicles.
• Assist in performing testing using various test equipment including robotic driver systems and data acquisition systems.
• Maintenance, calibration and upkeep of equipment and facilities.

This Automotive Technician job is commutable from Coventry, Leicester, Hinckley, Tamworth, Rugby, Nuneaton, Market, Bosworth, Coalville and surrounding areas.
