Automation Engineer or Robotics Engineer with a proven track record in programming robotic arms (Kuka, Fanuc, Yaskawa). This will include having an input into the initial robotic system design; performing reach studies; simulations; calculations; and producing robotic code for automation / robotic solutions.

Wider responsibilities will include:

• Development of functional, detailed and software design specifications.
• Producing electrical schematics and bill of materials.
• Robot, PLC and HMI programming.
• Site surveys.
• Design and machinery risk assessments and pulling together the appropriate technical documentation.

This Automation Engineer job will suit:

• A Robotics Engineer or Automation Engineer or Systems Engineer with experience of robotics programming / PLC and HMI programming within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Any specific exposure to Rockwell or Siemens PLC, motion and servo control systems would be advantageous.
• You will hold a relevant qualification in an Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
