​Assistant Production Manager

Salary & Package: £33,093 to £36,835+ Shift Premium. 5% employer pension. 25 days holiday + banks. OT paid at x1.45 hourly rate.

37 hours per week - Mornings 6 - 1:30 Mon to Thurs, early Friday finish. Afternoons 1:30pm to 9:00pm Mon to Thurs, 7pm finish on a Friday.

This Assistant Production Manager job will suit:

The Assistant Production Manager job will involve:

• Lead, direct and focus the efforts of the team whereby product is manufactured effectively and efficiently to meet the requirements of internal/external customer, whilst ensuring departmental and business targets are attained.

• Ensuring the quality of manufactured product meets drawing specification, and is handled / manufactured correctly to negate the need for any additional unplanned operations.

• Ensure workplace organisation is maintained to promote a safe and efficient working environment.

• Identify and implement countermeasures when deviations to plans occur in a timely manner.

• Reviewing departmental KPI’s on a regular basis with the focus of improving productivity/efficiency in a proactive manner.
