The Workshop Coordinator Role
As Workshop Coordinator, you will help ensure the workshop operates smoothly, efficiently, and in a customer-focused manner. This is a broad and varied coordination role combining workshop scheduling, administration, customer liaison, operational support, and service coordination responsibilities.
You will work closely with technicians, workshop staff, management, and customers to support daily workshop activities while helping maintain strong service standards and operational organisation.

Key Responsibilities
As a Workshop Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating daily workshop activities and supporting the wider workshop team
Scheduling workshop jobs for both internal and external customers
Managing workshop calendars, bookings, and workload planning
Preparing customer quotations and processing invoices accurately
Liaising directly with customers to provide updates, answer queries, and maintain high customer service standards
Supporting communication between customers, technicians, and workshop management
Monitoring workshop operations to help maintain efficiency and organisation
Managing workshop equipment, tools, and maintenance schedules
Monitoring stock levels for tools, consumables, parts, and workshop materials
Supporting workshop administration and operational processes
Contributing to a productive, organised, and customer-focused working environment
