Radar / RF Engineering Manager to lead product R&D in the RF/ microwave or Radar sector.

·To lead a team of analysts, and to work with systems engineers, software, hardware, and mechanical engineers to aid in bringing new products and/or product features from conceptual problems through to delivery into service.

·Aid Sales and Systems Engineering staff in the selection of appropriate products and system architectures to meet the detailed needs of customers, in response to requests for proposal and customer enquiries

·Overall responsibility for radar simulation activity, including: Performance modelling and Signal Processing modelling; to match current implementations and investigate further development (in close collaboration with the FPGA/Software team)

·Apply and communicate knowledge/experience of real-world challenges in radar systems, common techniques, typical system architectures, existing technologies, and engineering methodologies

The RF / Radar Engineering Manager job will suit:

·You are likely to hold a relevant qualification in an electrical engineering, systems engineering or similar engineering discipline at Masters or Bachelors level.

·A Radar Engineer / Radar Analyst career with experience of radar, sonar or communications systems from a range of sectors e.g. Defence, Aerospace, Marine, Naval or similar industry sector.

·Any experience of developing simulation models of radar and sub-systems in MATLAB.

·People leadership[p in a technical environment.

·You MUST be eligible for SC level security clearance.
