​Proposals Engineer. OX33, Oxford

·         Proposals Engineer, Commercial Engineer, Technical Sales Professional or similar.We are seeing a technical / engineering professional who is seeking a role that is customer facing and commercially focused.

·         Working with a range of different clients who are based within technical industries, Aerospace, Automotive, Medical and similar sectors.

·         There is NO cold calling, this will involve dealing with inbound customer contact and dealing with new enquiries. This is a very technical sales process, so it will very much suit an engineer who can communicate well.

·         Ideally you will have some knowledge of engineering or a technical principle, if you can read an engineering drawing you will be highly suited.

·         Excellent starting salary £30,000 - £40,000 + Bonus scheme and wider benefits.

This Proposals Engineer job will suit:

·         A Proposals Engineer, Commercial Engineer, Technical Sales professional or similar.Ideally you will have worked in a customer facing role or seeking a commercial role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

·         Any qualifications or knowledge of engineering or technical drawings,– you will need to be able to assist customers with technical queries and technical sales proposals.

·         Comfortable dealing with documentation, working with ERP/MRP, sales administration (Invoicing, RFQ’s).Any knowledge of Export compliance would be an advantage.

·         Office based role, you will require to travel into the site based just outside of Oxford.
