The business has a strong reputation within food processing and industrial engineering and is growing by approximately 15% year on year. Due to continued expansion, they are creating a new Project Manager position to support customers across the UK.

The Project Manager Job

This Project Manager role will involve managing the installation, commissioning and delivery of bespoke stainless steel process equipment used within food and beverage manufacturing environments.

The successful candidate will work closely with customers, engineers and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Managing engineering installation projects from start to finish

• Coordinating site activities and commissioning work

• Producing and reviewing method statements and risk assessments

• Liaising directly with food manufacturing customers and engineering teams

• Supporting project delivery, scheduling and customer communication

• Ensuring installations meet health & safety and quality standards

Project Manager Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you could have previous experience as:

• Project Manager

• Engineering Project Manager

• Installation Manager

• Field Service Manager

• Commissioning Engineer

• Site Manager

• Mechanical Project Engineer

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in:

• Food manufacturing equipment

• Stainless steel fabricated machinery

• Process engineering equipment

• Pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment

• Industrial engineering projects

• Mechanical engineering installations

You will ideally be a proactive and customer-focused engineer who enjoys working directly with clients and coordinating engineering projects on-site.
