Are you seeking a Project Manager job in Chesterfield, this Project Manager job based in Derbyshire is focused on leading and managing automotive manufacturing projects from concept into production for an internal product development and manufacturing business.

This Project Manager job will suit:

• Previous experience of working within a Project Manager or Engineering / Manufacturing role with a strong focus on project management / managing projects into production.

• Previous experience of working within an automotive manufacturing environment would be preferred e.g., have an understanding of automotive processes such as IATF and APQP etc…

• You will be organised, be able juggle your own priorities, plan well and communicate effectively across all areas of a business.

• Ability to manage customers (technical and commercial discussions).

• You will hold a relevant qualification in an engineering, manufacturing or production discipline.

This Project Manager job will involve:

• Developing and driving projects for customers from concept into production, you will typically manage 2-4 projects at anyone time.

• Work closely with internal commercial and engineering teams and customers as appropriate.

• Manage the RFQ process and ensure timely preparation of quotations and technical responses.

• Carry out and oversee cost estimations and quote preparation.

• Influence and drive internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects into production.
