Working as part of a collaborative Operations team, you will play a key role in supporting production processes, improving manufacturing efficiency, and driving operational excellence across the business. The Role – Process Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer

This Process Engineer job in Oxfordshire is a diverse and hands-on engineering role supporting manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Working closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams, you will help optimise manufacturing processes, improve production efficiency, and support the ongoing development of operational procedures and systems.

The role would suit a Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer, Project Engineer, Process Support Engineer, or Continuous Improvement Engineer looking for broader exposure and the opportunity to make a genuine impact within an expanding engineering business.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting day-to-day manufacturing and production engineering activities

  • Identifying and implementing process improvements across the production environment

  • Assisting with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives

  • Supporting installation, commissioning, maintenance, or optimisation of manufacturing equipment

  • Working with industrial machinery, capital equipment, CNC machinery, or automated production systems

  • Creating and maintaining engineering documentation, procedures, and risk assessments

  • Supporting compliance with health & safety regulations, COSHH, and manufacturing standards

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Production, Engineering, and Quality

  • Investigating manufacturing issues and implementing corrective actions

  • Assisting with project delivery and process development activities

  • Supporting operational excellence initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity

Salary & Benefits
