​Managing Director 

·        Managing Director jobs role ; rare opportunity to have significant equity in a £28m t/o, 170 headcount, £4.25+ EBITDAengineering business

·        MBO / EMI share scheme/ equity scheme will see you being a significant equity partner with the wider Executive Team

·        You need to be Sales focused (probably previously a Sales Director) and have a degree in engineering + ideally an MBA

·        2024 forecast : £28m t/o with a £4.25+ EBITDA. Growth in last 12 months of 17%+

·        170 headcount manufacturer of mechanical components & solutions into regulated process industries globally

·        Salary TBC ; likely to be £90,000 - £110,000 + Executive package + equity (significant equity taking overall package well beyond the market rate for Managing Director jobs / Sales Director jobs)

Managing Director Candidate profile:

·        Must have BEng, MEng or very strong mechanical engineering intellect

·        Ambitious - wanting to take that step from being an employee to being a business owner and have a significant equity stake in a highly profitable £28m t/o R&D focused engineering business

·        Must have some international business experience – this is a very export focused business

·        Must have a technical understanding – this is a complex mechanical engineering solution into highly regulated industries – you will need to be able to assimilate technical engineering principles/solutions

·        Ideally an engineering / technical degree and an MBA (albeit we are flexible on this)

·        Data driven. The Exec team are very IT driven and analytical; utilising IT systems to make things efficient and accurate is important

·        Collaborative – direct reports (7 approx.) are friendly and committed. So someone who engages in a nice way to lead this team (someone to support and facilitate the team)

·        You must be happy to do international travel
