  • Dynamic supplier of components to aerospace, industrial, engineering, rail, medical and defence sectors (diverse so great job security)
  • NOT cold calling – highly professional B2B – dealing with blue chip companies
  • As an internal Key Account manager / Internal Sales Executive you will combine strong attention to detail with a pro-active approach to managing customer relationships
  • Very good job security : part of PLC / FTSE listed large company but you get to work for a business unit which is dynamic, friendly and very customer focused

Your background to be suitable for this key account manager jobs role

 

  • Located within Leicestershire (or commutable to the Ashby, Ibstock, Markfield sort of region near Leicester)
  • Good communication skills
  • Good attention to detail. This isn’t a call centre or a business that has really high call levels. So you are doing quotes, proposals, updating the CRM system, looking at different parts / product codes and making sure sales are coordinated efficiently as much as you are taking new enquires. So we still want that pro-active nice verbal communication skill but it’s a balanced and varied role
  • Excellent IT skills – ideally good with Excel & can handle some reports  
  • You should be ambitious and want to progress your career. You will be pro-active and want a diverse role
  • Friendly, upbeat & enthusiastic
  • Ideally you will have some experience of the engineering, manufacturing or industrial sectors. You will be dealing with mechanical engineering components. We do NOT need an engineer but someone who has a feel for the industry OR has a strong interest would be beneficial (or someone who has internals sales experience in the aerospace sector who now wants to be more diverse to aid job security
