We are hiring an IT Manager in Boston, Lincolnshire for a well-established and growing business. This IT Manager opportunity is ideal for a hands-on technical professional who wants full ownership of IT systems, infrastructure and security, while delivering meaningful business improvements.

As IT Manager, you will take responsibility for all areas of IT including Microsoft 365, networks, servers, VoIP, security and supplier management. This is not a people management role. Instead, you will act as the lead IT specialist, delivering projects and ensuring reliable day-to-day operations.

IT Manager responsibilities

Own and manage IT infrastructure, systems and cyber security

Provide hands-on support across Microsoft 365, servers, networks, backups and endpoints

Manage external IT suppliers and service providers

Lead IT projects from planning through to successful delivery

Drive improvements in security and contribute to ISO 27001 readiness

Act as the primary IT contact for internal stakeholders

IT Manager requirements

Experience as an IT Manager, IT Lead or Senior IT Engineer

Strong hands-on technical skills across infrastructure and systems

Microsoft 365, networking, server and security experience

Comfortable working in a fully on-site environment

Strong communication skills with non-technical teams

Project-driven and solutions-focused approach
