£75,000 - £80,000 + Car Allowance/Company Car + Bonus + Private Healthcare + Enhanced Pension
Our client is seeking an experienced Group Health, Safety & ESG Manager to lead Health, Safety, Environmental and ESG strategy across an international manufacturing and engineering group with multiple operating sites.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Group Health, Safety & ESG Manager will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in Health & Safety performance, environmental compliance, ESG development, governance and organisational capability.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Health & Safety professional looking to influence strategic decision-making at Board level whilst maintaining close involvement with operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
•Lead Group-wide Health, Safety and Environmental strategy.
•Develop and improve HSE governance frameworks and standards.
•Coach and support local Health & Safety professionals.
•Implement audit and assurance programmes.
•Drive risk reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
•Produce Board-level reporting and performance analysis.
•Support ESG and sustainability framework development.
•Coordinate environmental improvement initiatives.
•Provide technical HSE expertise across the Group.
•Work alongside external legal, compliance and subject matter experts to ensure best practice governance and compliance.
Candidate Requirements
•Significant experience in Health & Safety leadership roles.
•Manufacturing, engineering or industrial sector background.
•Multi-site HSE management experience.
•Strong understanding of compliance, risk management and audit processes.
•NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
•IOSH membership.
•ESG and environmental experience desirable.
