  • Qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) Financial Controller, Senior Finance professional to work within an SME engineering & manufacturing business.
  • Excellent opportunity for career advancement, role created due to business growth, this would be ideal for someone with ambition looking to support senior leadership with financial analysis.
  • Ideally any knowledge of working within Engineering / Manufacturing / Production would be useful – Cost analysis, costing experience will be needed.
  • ERP/MRP knowledge.

Salary & Package: We suspect in the region of £50-60K basic salary, but we will be flexible depending on experience.   

This Financial Controller job will suit:

  • CIMA / ACCA / ACA Qualified Accountant.
  • Excellent knowledge of costing / cost analysis – ideally within an engineering, manufacturing or production business.
  • Proactive person with a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to contribute to the commercial agility of the business – not afraid to question decisions and to keep the financial interest of the business front of mind.

The Financial Controller job will involve:

  • Ensure that monthly reporting and management accounts are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Deliver on statutory compliance reporting requirements, and work with the external auditors.
  • Responsible for the finance function of the business- invoicing, accounts payable, credit control, cash flow, forecasting and modelling.
  • Play a key role in continuous improvement of business systems and business data, for example ensuring that the ERP system is fully functional, finding efficient and faster methods of delivering traditional processes.
  • Identifying financial patterns and commercial ratios which help the business improve sales activities, reduce operational costs and improve the return on investment.

This job is commutable from Hinckley, Tamworth, Leicester, Nuneaton, Ashby De La Zouch, Coalville and the surrounding areas.
