Do you have a background in manufacturing or engineering facilities continuous improvement?

Do you want to lead and deliver a facilities improvement plan for a successful multi-site engineering business with investment and backing from their parent company?

Your background as a Facilities Improvement Leader:

  • Previous experience within a role focused on developing and maintaining modern, clean, organised, efficient production, manufacturing, workshop, or similar facilities.

  • The business is a UK engineering / manufacturing SME who are part of a larger group so we are looking for somebody who can engage with the people and embed a culture and working environment in align with an inspiring place to work.

  • You are likely to have previous experience of delivering continuous improvement projects within manufacturing / engineering / production facilities but be able to continuously maintain and manage standards of excellence – this isn’t just about delivering a one-off project.

  • Knowledge and experience of standard operating procedures, production workflows, health and safety, planned maintenance would be very beneficial.

Facilities Improvement Leader responsibilities:

  • The business has recently been acquired and the parent company are delivering a facilities improvement plan to continuously look at ways of providing an inspiring place to work culture.

  • As part of the investment, the business has created a brand-new role for a Facilities Improvement Leader to lead and drive the facilities improvement plan.

  • The role will have an initial focus on the development of the workshop and production facilities but there is further scope to look at their complete operations which are 3 sites consisting of office, production, and stores facilities (all located in the same area). This could include the build of a brand-new facility.

  • The role will cover everything from assessing what needs to be done, leading, and managing the delivery of the improvement projects (likely to include small internal building works), embedding a culture a pride in the workplace facilities, managing the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the facilities.
