Engineering Quality Technical Document Controller

Sheffield

Office based.  Full time. Mon-Fri.  Lunchtime finish on Fridays.

£32,000 salary guideline + 5% pension

Senior Document Controller in a professional engineering business with safety critical products.  Key responsibilities include:

Update and maintain Quality Assurance documentation and Product Certification data to ensure customer product packs and records are accurate and complete.

Prepare documentation packs for customers to ensure that production certification, product sign-off records and product test-results are collated, delivered, recorded and archived.

Ensure suppliers provide product certifications and product records, and that suppliers comply with specification requirements,

Work with colleagues in sales, contracts and engineering teams to understand what projects are on the horizon, plan (and shape) workloads, and ensure the documentation and certification of products can be delivered on time.

This Senior Document Controller role is with a manufacturing engineering business with a safety critical component and global customers.

The Senior Document Controller job is suited to a person confident to work in manufacturing business.  Ideal experience for the role will include some experience of product documentation, product certification records or document control in a regulated industry.  An engineering company background will be ideal, but we welcome applications from any sector with regulated product certification standards.

Pay level:  £32k guideline salary, + 5% pension.  Full time Mon-Fri. Lunchtime finish on Fridays.
