Key Duties Electronics Engineer FPGA

• Develop the FPGA architectures and designs

• Collaborate with the Systems Engineer and firmware team to define the interfaces and responsibilities of the FPGA and Microprocessors

• Implement the FPGA designs in VHDL and develop the FPGA verification test benches

• Design and test PCBAs to provide power and control to systems

What you need to have: 

• At least 2 years of professional experience in FPGA and electronics development

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering or relevant engineering discipline

• Strong technical skills in FPGA development, digital, embedded CPU, basic analog and interface board design

• Solid understanding of Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DfM, DfA)

• Experience of real time embedded systems and/or electro-mechanical systems is a plus

• Familiarity with Xilinx FPGAs, ARM processors would be beneficial

• Experience Altium PCB design software, ModelSim, JIRA workflow a plus
