Construction Electrical Design Engineer and Project Management role. Mix of meeting customers, site visits and the office based electrical design engineer activity.

•Electrical Design Engineer, construction and fit-out, producing designs for commercial buildings from HV systems and 11kV transformer point to lighting, mains distribution. power sockets, industrial power and floor boxes across the 415v and 230v range.

•Specialist equipment in the electrical installation design can include HV and energy management systems, solar energy systems, building management systems, emergency systems, lightning protection, fire alarm PAVA and security, EV Electric Vehicle ChargePoints, as well as the electric socket and lighting circuits which are part of the construction electrical design.

•The Electrical Design Engineer will have opportunity to work on a range of construction and fitout electrical designs for industrial and commercial buildings including hospitals, retail, warehouse, accommodation and college buildings.

•Working as part of a team in a professional electrical contractor working on electrical designs for projects values between £100k to £3m.

As an electrical design engineer you’ll be involved from concept stage, working with clients and colleagues, involved with multiple electrical installation projects at various stages of electrical design and electrical installation.

We are looking for a qualified Electrical Design Engineer, able to lead a team of engineers including CAD operators and BIM engineers.

Salary & Package: around £50-55,000 salary + car allowance, pension and benefits depending on experience.
