​Design Engineer

• Designing a range of bespoke products using Solidworks.

• Established business with a growing order book.

• Early Friday afternoon finish.

Great opportunity for an experienced Design Engineer who is looking to work on bespoke products for an established business. Due to growth, we do need someone with some practical design experience to help get up to speed quicker. Flexible on 3D CAD package experience, although Solidworks is an advantage.

Salary:£30,000 to £35,000 per annum.

This Design Engineerjob will suit:

• Experienced Mechanical Design Engineer.

• Understanding of sheet metal design.

• Good knowledge of Solidworks CAD package (not essential).

• An engineering qualification would be an advantage, but this isn’t essential if you have demonstrable experience.

The Design Engineerjob will involve:

• Designing bespoke products manufactured with sheet metal.

• Using Solidworks CAD package.

• Key part of the engineering development team.

TheMechanical Design Engineerjob’s working environment:

• Opportunity to work largely on bespoke products – lots of variety to keep things fresh.

• Hours Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5:30pm and Friday 8:30am – 2:00pm.

• Excellent working facilities.

• On site gym available.

This job is commutable from Scunthorpe.
