Working with Euro Projects Recruitment

What does Euro Projects Recruitment do?

Euro Projects Recruitment is a UK recruitment consultancy specialising in engineering, manufacturing, technology and related professional appointments. We recruit for permanent, contract and interim positions, from hands-on technical roles through to executive and senior management appointments.

Which types of jobs do you recruit for?

We recruit across technical and engineering, manufacturing and production, information technology, sales and marketing, business professional, executive and senior management roles. The vacancies available change regularly, so search our latest jobs or send us your CV if the right role is not currently advertised.

Where are your jobs based?

We recruit for employers across the UK. Many vacancies are concentrated around established engineering and manufacturing locations, but the precise location, travel requirements and scope for hybrid working depend on the employer and the role. Each job advert should explain the working arrangements that are known at the time.

Do candidates have to pay to use Euro Projects Recruitment?

No. Candidates do not pay Euro Projects Recruitment to find or apply for work. Our recruitment fee is paid by the hiring employer. UK recruitment agencies are not permitted to charge work-seekers for work-finding services.

What happens when I register or send you my CV?

Your details are reviewed against current and forthcoming vacancies in our specialist areas. If a consultant identifies a potentially suitable opportunity, they may contact you to understand your experience, career plans, salary expectations, location and practical requirements before discussing the role in more detail.

Will you contact me if there is not a suitable vacancy immediately?

We may contact you when a relevant opportunity becomes available, but registering does not guarantee that we will have a suitable role straight away. Keep your CV and contact details up to date, create relevant job alerts and continue to check our latest vacancies.

Will you send my CV to an employer without discussing the job with me?

We will discuss a relevant opportunity with you before representing you for that specific vacancy. The conversation gives you the chance to understand the employer, role, location, salary and recruitment process and to decide whether you want to proceed.

Can Euro Projects keep my job search confidential?

Yes. Tell your consultant if your search is confidential, particularly if you work in a closely connected sector or local market. We can discuss how and when your details would be shared with a prospective employer. You should also review our privacy and data-retention information for details of how personal information is handled.

Applying for a job

How do I apply for a Euro Projects vacancy?

Open the relevant vacancy on our website and select Apply Now. Submit an up-to-date CV and accurate contact details so the consultant responsible for the role can assess your application. You can also register with us or send your CV for consideration against other suitable opportunities.

Should I apply if I do not meet every requirement in the job description?

It can still be worth applying if you meet most of the important technical and practical requirements. Job descriptions often contain a mixture of essential criteria and the employer’s ideal wish list. Be honest about any gaps and show clearly where your transferable experience could be relevant.

Can I apply for more than one vacancy?

Yes, if each role is a realistic match for your experience and goals. Applying selectively is usually more effective than submitting the same CV for every vacancy. A consultant can also help identify which opportunity offers the strongest fit.

Can I apply if I have already applied directly to the employer?

Tell us before we represent you. Employers normally want one clear introduction route for each candidate, and a duplicate application can create confusion. Let the consultant know when you applied, which role you applied for and whether the employer has responded.

Can I apply if another recruitment agency has already discussed the same job with me?

Tell us before proceeding. You should not normally be represented twice for the same vacancy. Confirm whether the other agency has actually submitted your CV, rather than assuming that an initial conversation means it has been sent.

Why is the employer’s name sometimes not shown in a job advert?

Some employers ask for confidentiality, particularly during a sensitive replacement, a new appointment or a commercially important recruitment project. Where we can disclose the organisation, the consultant will give suitable candidates enough information to make an informed decision before progressing.

How long will it take to hear about my application?

Timescales vary according to the vacancy, the application volume and the employer’s recruitment timetable. If your experience appears to match, a consultant may contact you for an initial discussion. If the closing date or expected process is stated in the advert, use that as the best guide.

Your CV and suitability

What should an engineering or manufacturing CV include?

Make your technical fit easy to identify. Include your job titles, employers, dates, products or processes, responsibilities, measurable achievements, relevant machinery or systems, software, qualifications and professional training. For project-based work, explain the scale, stage and outcome of the projects you supported.

How long should my CV be?

There is no fixed rule, but two or three well-structured pages are usually enough for many experienced candidates. Senior, highly technical or contract careers may need more space. Relevance and clarity matter more than forcing your experience onto an arbitrary number of pages.

Should I tailor my CV for each job?

Yes. You should not rewrite your entire history, but you should make the most relevant experience easy to find. Reflect the language used in the vacancy where it accurately describes your skills, and give greater prominence to comparable products, processes, systems, responsibilities and results.

Should I include salary information on my CV?

You do not normally need to put your current salary or salary expectations on your CV. Your consultant can discuss the complete package with you, including basic salary, overtime, shift allowance, bonus, pension, car or car allowance, holiday, flexibility and other benefits.

What if my job title does not reflect what I actually do?

Keep your official title accurate, then add a short explanation or an equivalent functional title if that helps the reader understand your level and responsibilities. The evidence underneath the title—team size, technical scope, decisions, projects and results—is more important than the label alone.

Can you help me understand what salary I should be targeting?

Yes. Our consultants can discuss current market evidence for comparable roles, taking account of discipline, seniority, location, sector, scarcity of skills and the wider benefits package. Salary ranges are a guide rather than a guarantee because each employer values experience differently.

Interviews and selection

How will Euro Projects help me prepare for an interview?

Your consultant can brief you on the role, employer, interview format and the areas the hiring team is likely to explore. We can also help you think through relevant examples and practical questions. Use our candidate resources for additional interview preparation.

What should I research before an engineering or manufacturing interview?

Understand what the company makes or delivers, its customers and markets, the purpose of the site or team, and the main requirements of the vacancy. Prepare examples that show how your experience relates to its products, processes, technology, quality standards, projects or operational challenges.

How should I answer technical interview questions?

Explain your reasoning as well as the final answer. Describe the situation, constraints, action you personally took and result. Be precise about your own contribution, the tools or standards involved and any measurable improvement. If you do not know something, say so and explain how you would investigate it safely.

What questions should I ask at an interview?

Ask questions that help you judge the job as well as demonstrate genuine interest. Useful topics include immediate priorities, success measures, team structure, technical challenges, investment plans, management style, training, progression and the next stage of the process.

What should I wear to an interview?

Choose professional clothing that suits the employer and the setting. For a site visit, ask whether you need safety footwear or other personal protective equipment. If the interview is online, test your camera, sound and connection and choose a quiet, well-lit location.

Can I ask for reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process?

Yes. If a disability or health condition means an adjustment would help you participate fairly, tell your consultant or the employer as early as you comfortably can. Adjustments depend on individual needs and could relate to access, timing, communication, interview format or assessments.

Will I receive interview feedback?

We request feedback from employers and share constructive information when it is provided. The timing and level of detail can vary, but you are welcome to contact your consultant if you are waiting for an update.

Offers, resignation and changing jobs

Can Euro Projects help me negotiate a job offer?

Yes. Tell your consultant what matters to you before an offer is made, including salary, benefits, working pattern, location, start date and career opportunity. We can communicate with the employer, clarify the package and help both sides reach an informed decision.

Should I resign as soon as I receive a verbal offer?

Normally, wait until you have received and reviewed the written offer and understand any conditions attached to it. Check the salary, benefits, location, hours, start date and pre-employment requirements. If anything is unclear, discuss it before resigning.

What checks might an offer be subject to?

Depending on the employer and role, an offer may be conditional on satisfactory references, proof of qualifications, right-to-work checks, medical or health assessments, security clearance, DBS checks or other role-specific requirements. The employer should explain which conditions apply.

How do I work out my notice period?

Check your employment contract and any later written changes to it. Your notice period may differ according to your role, length of service or contractual terms. Discuss your likely availability honestly and avoid committing to a start date until you understand your obligations.

What should I do if my current employer makes a counteroffer?

Pause and return to the reasons you considered leaving. Compare the counteroffer with the new role across responsibilities, progression, culture, flexibility, location, security and total reward—not salary alone. Your consultant can help you examine the options, but the final decision should reflect your longer-term priorities.

Contract work, checks and personal information

Do you recruit for contract and interim positions?

Yes. Euro Projects recruits for contract and interim appointments as well as permanent roles. The engagement model, rate, expected duration, location, working arrangements and any status considerations depend on the assignment and will be explained when a specific opportunity is discussed.

What documents might I need during the recruitment process?

You may be asked for evidence of your identity and right to work in the UK, as well as qualifications, licences, certificates or references relevant to the role. Only provide documents through the agreed secure route and ask your consultant if you are unsure what is required.

Do I need the right to work in the UK?

Employers must check that a successful applicant has the right to work in the UK before employment begins. The evidence required depends on your circumstances. If a vacancy offers visa sponsorship, this should be confirmed for that specific role rather than assumed.

How will Euro Projects use my personal information?

We use candidate information to provide recruitment services, assess potential matches and communicate about suitable opportunities. Please read our privacy policy and GDPR compliance and data-retention information for details of how information is collected, used, stored and how to exercise your data rights.

How do I update my CV or contact details?

Send us your latest CV or update your candidate account, and make clear that it replaces an earlier version. It is also helpful to tell us if your location, availability, salary expectations, preferred roles or contact details have changed.
